Beaver Community Trust is a local registered charity which aims to improve the lives and wellbeing of children and families in Ashford.
BCT operates The Willow Centre, a modern building located in south Ashford which is used as a Sure Start Children’s Centre and to deliver services to the local community. The charity also runs Kiddie Kapers, a thriving and successful children’s nursery based at the centre, along with two local community cafe’s.
Beaver Community Trust (BCT) is also a company limited by guarantee and was incorporated on 28th November 2002. The Trust was granted Charitable Status in December 2007. The Trust’s charitable objective is:
“To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups and registered settings”
The Kiddie Kapers nursery is BCT’s largest area of activity and combined with our cafe, administration, reception and caretaker staff we employ almost 75 people across the Ashford locality.
