Welcome to the website for the Beaver Community Trust (BCT), a registered charity based in Ashford Kent.
The principle objective of the BCT is to develop and operate initiatives associated with education and the well-being of children, families and the environment in the local area.
The BCT was set up in partnership between South Ashford Baptist Church, Sure Start Ashford and the local Community. The BCT owns and manages The Willow Centre in south Ashford, where it also operates Kiddie Kapers, a successful children’s nursery, a branch of the Light Bites community cafe. BCT also operates another branch of Light Bites at The Ray Allen Centre nearby.
BCT is run as a ‘not for profit Limited Company’ which has achieved Charitable status. The activities of the BCT are overseen by a Board comprising representatives from South Ashford baptist Church, Surestart Ashford, and the local community.
